This book consists of four short stories and nineteen poems! The poems range from humorous to inspirational to horrific! Enjoy reading, The Inn, Lilacs of Enchancia, Roles Reversed, and The Curse of Perfection. One a horror, two a fantasy, and the fourth a dystopian narrative.

Nine teens wrote short stories as a semester long project for Classical Conversations Challenge B. These are their stories.

This is a true story written by my mother while finishing her bachelors degree in the mid 1990's, about her sister. I have put it in a book for her to read while living in a memory care facility, so she can remember it.

It was a Tuesday in late May when the call went out for a responding officer to investigate the discovery of long-buried bones in the small community of Edgemont, Ohio. Dave's Uber Stories are diverse, humorous and entertaining. His short stories range from nearly having his car roll down a hill because he forgot to put the shifter into “Park” after he got out to clean up a mess a three year old made in the back seat to when he accidentally picked up an Uber passenger and a Lyft passenger at the same time! These family friendly stories incorporate numerous discoveries through his experience driving the people he writes about. He hopes to share some laughter and maybe even teach some life lessons with his readers.

This allegory was inspired by Hannah Hurdard’s book Hinds’ Feet on High Places. I was so inspired by the courage of her heroine that I was moved to tears. I also identified with how long it took Much-Afraid to progress toward some mystical place where she could find peace. Little did she know that place was within. Recent review . . .
